Meet us at Kichijoji Station and stroll around Inokashira Park. The cherry blossoms glow around golden hour, the best light for photos. A drink under the trees is classic hanami, flower viewing, one of Japan's most loved spring pastimes.
After sunset it's time for the bars. Kichijoji is widely known as one of the best places to live in Tokyo, but few visitors know its reputation for eclectic little bars and gastropubs. Some are so off the grid that even Google Maps doesn't know they exist. Most of them sit in Harmonica Yokocho, an alley that began as a flea market after the war, and tonight they are yours.
In Kichijoji. We meet at Kichijoji Station, walk Inokashira Park for hanami at golden hour, then move into Harmonica Yokocho for the bar hop.

Kichijoji has bars right next to a park famous for its island zoo, swan boats and the other things locals do there. In cherry blossom season you can see the blooms up close, get great photos and maybe make new friends in the park.
Yes. Even if you are staying on the opposite side of Tokyo (Asakusa, Ueno, Tokyo Station) you have plenty of time. The last train is usually around midnight.

Shinjuku and Shibuya are full of foreign tourists. Kichijoji is local Japanese regulars, which makes for a more authentic night out.
All bookings are final and non-refundable, and you pay in full when you book. If we cancel the tour ourselves (severe weather, emergency) you get a full refund. The tour starts strictly on time and late arrivals are not refunded.
